Everyone should stay at home.
Except for food delivery people and the restaurant workers who make the food for me.
Except grocery store employees, the truckers who haul food across the country, the poor migrants who pick my food, the food processing plants, and the delivery people who deliver it to my door.
Except toilet paper manufacturers, household cleaner manufacturers, shampoo, cosmetics and soap manufacturers and the Amazon employees who process and pack all my purchases for me and the USPS, UPS, and Fedex employees who deliver it to me.
Except lawn care people, plumbers, electricians, municipal employees, the cops, the firefighters and electrical power employees, including linemen. Also car mechanics so they can keep these essential workers vehicles in working order.
Except pro-sports and Hollywood so I’m entertained and my Netflix well doesn’t run dry.
Except childcare workers so I can finally get some work done.
Except hospital staff and dentists so that if I have a medical or dental problem I can have it tended to.
In fact, what I really mean by “everyone should stay home” is that everyone else should keep working so that I can stay home. And we need to pass legislation to compensate me for my hardship.
